I am...

If you're an avid reader of my blog, I'm sure you've gathered a pretty good idea of who I am by now, but just in case there's more you want to know, I figured I might as well do an about me page.

I'm 26 years old and from a small town just north of the massive metropolis of Toronto. Born and raised here, I went to school in TO for three years and lived there during that time.

I studied journalism at the wonderful J-School at Humber College and had the opportunity to sharpen many of the writing skills I already possessed.

For a year after college, I worked at two IT magazines that were geared towards the VAR Industry. Unfortunately, they weren't able to pay me full time and I needed monies to pay off debt, so I had to move on.

Since then I've worked as a Sales Rep at Zellers, a Cook and Ministry Worker at a Christian Camp called Teen Ranch, a Barista at The Village Coffee House, a Guest Service Agent and Reservationist at Hockley Valley Resort, a Customer Service Rep at a company that sells students a card that gives them wicked discounts at a whole bunch of stores and restaurants and stuff, and am currently hunting for a job after being laid off from the latter position.

I love to write. Eventually I'd like to get a few novels published, but finding the time and motivation to work on them seems difficult lately.

At this point, I still live at home with my parents, but it's not so bad. It's providing the opportunity for me to get my debts paid off and have some savings before I get married next April.

I'm quirky. I'm a geek. I have a great sense of humour and I'm fun to be around (at least, this is what I'm told). I love adventure, I love God, and I'm someone who stands by what I believe in.

<3 always.

Tabitha
